Police are investigating a recent Homicide

Police Detectives on the island of New Providence are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a male which occurred on Wednesday 25th, August 2021.

Preliminary reports are that shortly before 5:00 p.m., police were called to a shooting incident that happened on Quintine Alley off Wulff Road. On the arrival of the first responding officers. They were informed that a male patron was exiting a business establishment when he was approached by two males who exited a small Japanese vehicle. Both suspects, who were armed discharged their weapons in the direction of the male injuring him. The victim was transported to the hospital via a private vehicle where he later succumbed to his injuries. Investigations into this matter continues.

Police are investigating a shooting incident

Detectives on the island of New Providence have launched an investigation into a shooting incident which occurred on Wednesday 25th, August 2021.

Preliminary reports indicate that sometime after 6:00 p.m., police were informed of a shooting incident that occurred on Williams Lane and Cowpen Road. Officers responded and on their arrival; the initial investigations revealed that two males had stopped at a residence to visit a friend. When, a short time later a lone gunman approached them and discharged a weapon in their direction. One of the men was injured, he was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle and is listed in stable condition. Investigations into this matter continues.
