Police discovers dangerous drugs

The Royal Bahamas Police Force's crime fighting strategies have again resulted in the discovery of a quantity of dangerous drugs on the island of New Providence on Wednesday 19th, May 2021.

Preliminary reports are that shortly after 9:00 a.m., officers from the Drug Enforcement and K9 Unit executed a search warrant on a residence located on Revival Faith Way. During the search of the premises a quantity of suspected marijuana and several suspected marijuana plants under cultivation was found. A male suspect was arrested and taken into custody as a result of the find. The suspected marijuana weighed 7lbs and has an estimated street value of $7000.00. Investigations into this matter continues.
