POLICE ARRESTED MALE SUSPECT FOR POSSESSION OF AN UNLICENSED FIREARM firearm

Police on the island of New Providence have arrested a male suspect for possession of an unlicensed firearm on Thursday 29th, April 2021.

Preliminary reports are that sometime around 9:35 a.m., acting on information officers from the Operations Unit went to a residence located Canaan Lane. On their arrival, a search was conducted, this resulted in the discovery of a silver revolver. A male suspect was subsequently arrested and taken into custody. Investigation into this matter continues.
