POLICE ARRESTED A MALE AND FEMALE SUSPECT FOR POSSESSION OF DANGEROUS DRUGS AND AMMUNITION

The proactive strategies used by the Royal Bahamas Police Force have again resulted in the discovery of dangerous drugs and ammunition on Wednesday 21st, April 2021.

Preliminary reports are that sometime around 9:15 a.m., officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit acting on intelligence executed a search warrant on a residence at Granger Street, Chippingham. During the search, the officers discovered a quantity of suspected cocaine and marijuana. They also found an assortment of ammunition. As a result, an adult male and female were arrested and taken into custody. Investigations into this matter are ongoing.
