POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A SHOOTING INCIDENT

Police on the island of New Providence are investigating a shooting incident which occurred on Thursday 8th, April 2021.

Preliminary reports are that shortly after 9:00 p.m., a male was seated in his vehicle on the corner of Talbert Avenue, Nassau Village, when he was approached by a male armed with a firearm who shot him several time about the body before making good his escape. The victim was able to drive himself to the hospital. He is listed in stable condition at this time. Investigations into this matter continues.
