POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A SHOOTING INCIDENT

Preliminary reports are that shortly after 8:00 p.m., police responded to a shooting incident that occurred on Wilson Track. On the officer's arrival, investigations revealed that a male was visiting his girlfriend when he heard the sound of gunshots being discharged. As a result, he ran for cover and while doing so he received a wound to the head. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he is in stable condition. Investigations into this matter continue.

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING THE COUNTRY'S RECENT HOMICIDE

Police on the island of New Providence are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an adult male which occurred at on Monday 22nd, March 2021.

Preliminary reports are that shortly after 5:00 a.m., police were alerted to a shooting incident that occurred on Wilson Track. On the arrival of the officers, they were led to a single-story structure where they found the lifeless body of a male. Information is that, the victim heard a knock at his door. As he attempted to open it, the door was pried open by his assailant who then shot him in the head. Emergency Medical Services visited the scene and pronounced the body lifeless following their examination. Investigation into this matter continues.
