Police Cadets from the Royal Bahamas Police Force recently took part in a powerful reenactment of Black Tuesday on Parliament Street—an event that brought history to life and reinforced the values of civic duty and national pride.
Held in commemoration of April 27, 1965, the reenactment paid tribute to the moment Opposition Leader Sir Lynden Pindling threw the Speaker’s Mace out of the House of Assembly window, making a bold statement against unfair constituency boundaries and standing up for democracy.
