The Officer-In-Charge of Northeastern Division, Superintendent Oswald Nixon and a team of officers collaborated with the National Crime Prevention Office to intervene in the Ida Street and Minnie Street area of Nassau on Thursday 9th February, 2017.

This initiative is consistent with the Commissioner's 2017 Policing Plan on Reducing the Fear of Crime and Restoring and Maintaining Public Confidence.

The officers, while making their presence felt in the area, provided the residents with various safety pamphlets advising them on how to manage conflict and how to protect their homes and properties.
