Police Begins New Year in Worship at Annual Church Service

On Sunday 7th January, 2018 at 2:00 pm, officers from throughout the police force gathered at Zion Baptist Church for its annual church service.

The service was attended by Governor General Her Excellency Dame Mageurite Pindling, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas the Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis, Deputy Prime Minister the Hon. Peter Turnquest, Minister of National the Hon. Marvin Dames and Mrs. Dames, Minister of Transport the HOn. Frankie Campbell and members of the Bahamas Christian Council.

Bringing the sermon was Rev. Dr. T.G Morrison, Pastor at Zion Baptist Church.

Also in attendance at the service were officers from the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, Bahamas Customs Department, Bahamas Immigration Department, Her Majesty's Prison, The Road Traffic Department and the Airport Authority.

Following the ceremony, officers from the various law enforcement agencies concluded the service with a parade from the church to Police Headquarters.
