Long Island Police Speaks to Students of Simms Primary School

The Commissioner of Police Policing Plan 2017 is fully endorsed and executed on daily basis by the hardworking and determined officers of Long Island District.

This was again demonstrated on Tuesday 21st November 2017, as Constable 3713 Walford Rolle of Simms Police Station conducted a presentation for the combined students of kindergarten and Grade one of Simms Primary School, on the topic "Policing, duties and badges of Rank.

The eighteen eager students were well informed by the information and asked many questions.

On completion, the students were treated to a tour of Simms Police Station, where they were shown images of wanted persons, use of fingerprint technique, the historic jail house, and inside of the police vehicle.

Classroom teacher Ms. L. Johnson expressed thanks and appreciation to the officer for such a stellar job.
