A joint walk about involving officers of the National Crime Prevention Office, North-Eastern Division, Kemp Road, Nassau Village, Englerston, and Fox Hill Urban Renewal Officer was conducted in the Kemp Road and surrounding areas.

Participating with the police were Cynthia "Mother" Pratt, Bishop Simeon Hall, Pastor Ivan Butler; Senior Pastor of Kemp Road Ministries, and other ministers of the church.

The walk was in response to several recents shootings in the area, and the officers provided an assortment of safety tips and pamphlets to the residents in the area.

This initiative is consistent with the Commissioner's Policing Plan on Reducing the Fear of Crime and the Prevention and Detection of Crime.
