Sunflower Academy Visits Police Headquarters

In keeping with the Commissioner's Policing Plan 2017, Corporal #3054 Kikiya Smith of the Fire Prevention Unit of the Royal Bahamas Police Fire Services welcomed a total of 38 students and 3 adults of Sunflower Academy to Police HQ on Thursday 19th October, 2017.

They learned about the importance of installing a smoke detector in their homes and not playing with lighters and matches.

This eager group, also enjoyed "Stop, Drop and Roll" demonstrations along with "Fall and Crawl" to escape a smoke filled building.

The trip culminated after Corporals #1436 Hamilton and #3028 Culmer of the Green Watch treated the students to a ride on Fire Delta #14.
