Two Illegal Guns Seized

Consistent with the Commissionerís Policing Priorities for 2017, Mobile Division officers, took two adult males into custody following the seizure of two illegal firearms on Wednesday 18th October 2017.

According to reports, around 12:30am, a team of officers from the Flying Squad acting on intelligence executed a search warrant at a home located at Deveaux Street off Market Street, where they uncovered a Smith and Wesson Pistol and a .32 pistol along with 14 rounds of ammunition. The males were subsequently taken into custody in connection with this seizure.
