On Tuesday 10th of October 2017, PC 3651 Culmer from The National Crime Prevention office was invited to speak at the Hillview Seventh Day Adventist Church's youth seminar where he spoke to a mixed crowd of eager listeners about factors that are affecting the young generation and how we can successfully protect their futures.

Officer Culmer challenged the parents in the Audience to know who the their children associate with and encouraged them to be more active in their lives and not allowing them to follow negative influences. He also suggested a number of ideas where parents can send their children after school and weekends instead of being home watching tv and collecting unhealthy traits.
