FTIU Seizes Two Illegal Firearms

Consistent with the Commissioner's Policing Priorities for 2017, Police seized two illegal firearms off the streets of New Providence in separate incidents.

In the first incident, on Friday 6th October 2017, officers from the Firearms Tracing and Gang Investigation Unit, were conducting an operation on Wulff Road, when they searched an abandoned building and found a pistol grip shotgun.

In the second incident, on Saturday 7th October 2017, officers from the Firearms Tracing and Gang Investigation Unit, were conducting an operation on Farrington Road when they searched a premises and found a .22 Beretta Pistol. No one was arrested in these two incidents.
