DEU Seize Illegal Gun and Drugs in Home Raid. Male and Female in Custody

Consistent with the Commissioner's Policing Priorities for 2017, Drug Enforcement Unit officers, took an adult male and an adult female into custody following the seizure of an illegal handgun and a quantity of dangerous drugs on Monday 2nd October 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 2:00pm, a team of officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit acting on intelligence executed a search warrant on a home located at Major's Alley off Williams Lane, Kemp Road, where they uncovered a .9- millimeter pistol with 13 rounds of ammunition along with a quantity of marijuana. The male and female occupants of the home were subsequently taken into custody in connection with this discovery.
