13 Arrested and 252 Drivers Cited During Weekend Police Operations

POLICE are reporting the arrest of 13 persons during an island-wide operation conducted by the RBPF Uniform Branches on Wednesday 27th September 2017.

The suspects were arrested for various major and minor criminal offences and outstanding court warrants. Additionally, 252 drivers were ticketed for various traffic violations.

The focused of the operations was to target persons involved in criminal activities, such as drugs and firearms, persons wanted for various criminal offences, prolific offenders, persons wanted for outstanding court warrants and motorists operating in Breach of the Traffic Laws.

Police are committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors and members of the general public, free of the perception and fear of crime.
