Police Seize Illegal Firearm

Consistent with the Commissioner's Policing Priorities for 2017, officers from a police special operations team seized another handgun off the streets of New Providence on Friday 22nd September 2017.

Reports are that shortly after 9:30pm, a special police operation team acting on intelligence, conducted a search of an open lot located off Bernard Road, where they uncovered a 9- millimeter Luger pistol. No one was arrested in connection with this find.
