On Saturday 26th August, 2017, the Bahamas Police Fraternal Order in partnership with the Bernice Shaw Foundation held a bact-to-school school supplies give-away on the Cynthia "Mother" Pratt Park on Second Street and Poincianna Drive.

The event was designed to help the kids in that area with much needed school supplies.

Also present was Chief Superintendent of Police Gabrielle Pratt, whose book "Yes I Can Help" was one of the books given to the children to put in their bags for reading.
