Scotiabank Continue Partnership With $10K to Police Summer Camp

Scotiabank (Bahamas) Ltd continued with it's yearly partnership with the Royal Bahamas Police Force, as it presented a $10,000.00 donation to the Force as it enters into its third year of the relationship established in 2015, when the Bank signed a multi-year $50,000. partnership agreement for the Police Summer Youth Programme.

According to Mr. Robert Pantry; Director, Retail Banking, Northern Caribbean, the longstanding partnership with the Police Summer Programme extends beyond the $10,000 installment being formally presented today.

Mr.Pantry further stated that in addition to the $10,000 installment being presented today, throughout the summer, Scotiabank employee volunteers will visit various camps to provide financial literacy training, serve lunch and distribute treats to our young people.

Accepting the donation was Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Stephen Dean, who thanked Scotiabank for the long-term initiative, that he said will provide an opportunity of hope for the 4000 plus children who attends the programme annually.

Also in attendance were Ms. Nakera S. Symonette; Senior Manager, Marketing and Publc Relations and Mrs. Maxine V. Seymour; Manage, Public & Corporate Affairs, Sponsorship & Philanthropy.
