BTC Makes $25K Donation to Police Summer Youth Program

The Bahamas Telecommunication Corporation is partnering with the Royal Bahamas Police Force through its annual summer youth program to help ensure that more than 4000 young children enjoy a fun-filled summer combined with learning activities and field trips, with a mega $25,000.00 donation.

The announcement was made at the Paul H. Farquharson Conference Centre at police headquarters.

Making the presentation was BTC's CEO and President Mr. Leon Williams, accompanied by Mrs. Janet Brown; Chief Marketing Officer, Dr. Johnathan Ford; Vice President of Planning and Project Management and Mr. Nathan Ellis; Chief Technical Officer.

Sr. Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Stephen Dean accepted the donation on behalf of Commissioner of Police Ellison Greenslade, who thanked Mr. Williams and BTC for the contributions that they have been making to the police camp over the past two years.

The police summer youth program, now in its 24th year, have been the primary camp throughout the Bahamas, hosted by the police that have made meaningful impacts in the lives of my young leaders in the country today.

It begins June 26th to August 4th, 2017, where the official opening ceremony will take place at Calvary Bible Church on Collins Avenue.
