In alignment with the Commissioner's Policing Plan 2017 on Working With Young People, Corporal #3146 Ryan McPhee conducted a fire safety lecture to the Seventh-Day Adventist Pathfinders youth group on the 11th June, 2017 at about 10:00 am situated Tonique Williams Darling Highway.

The students learnt about many aspects of fire safety such; as escaping a building fire, not to play with lighters/matches, duties of fire officers, calling 919 along with scenario based situations were posed to the students.

The students received the information very well but undoubtedly the peak of the session was when the Fire Truck arrived and each student got to the practical experience of using the water hose.

A total of 56 students and 12 leaders were in attendance.
