Police Fire Services Teaches Fire Safety at Sandilands Primary

On Thursday 26th May, 2017, Corporal #3054 Smith conducted a Safety Lecture at Sandilands Primary School on Bernard Road.

Approximately 200 students and 10 adults, were in attendance and learned about cooking safety, beach safety and fire safety.

The crew of Fire Delta #18 consisting of Sergeant #3050 Morley, Corporal #3028 Culmer and Constables #589 Cartwright and #2658 Whymms treated the students to a demonstration of the fire truck.

This initiative is consistent with the Commissioner's Policing Plan on Working with Young People.
