POLICE SEEK PUBLIC'S HELP IN SOLVING TWO OVERNIGHT SHOOTING INCIDENTS

Police are seeking the public's help in solving a shooting incident that has left a man dead on Saturday 22nd April 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 10:00pm, police received a report that a man was shot in front of a home located on Knowles Drive off Tonique Williams-Darling Highway. When officers arrived on scene they met the lifeless body of an adult male who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.

SHOOTING INCIDENT - GRAND BAHAMA

Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a shooting incident that has left a male hospitalized. Reports are that on Saturday 22nd April 2017 shortly before 8:00pm, a male reported that while in the East Beach Drive area, he was approached by another male who produced a handgun and shot him several times to the body. He was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital via private vehicle where he is listed in serious condition.

Two males are in police custody who are assisting police with their investigation into this matter.
