AMERICAN DIES WHILE SWIMMING AT GREAT STURRUP CAY
Police are investigating the apparent drowning of an American woman in waters at Great Sturrup Cay off Berry Islands on Sunday 26th November, 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 11:00am, the American woman was swimming with family members in the water near Great Sturrup Cay when she became unconscious. The woman was taken to shore and despite extensive CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) efforts was declared dead by a medical doctor. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death. Investigations are continuing.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS
Police are searching for two males responsible for an armed robbery which occurred on Sunday 26th November, 2017.

Reports are that shortly before 1pm, two men, one armed with a handgun entered a local Web Shop on Cowpen Road and robbed the cashier of cash before fleeing in a silver vehicle. Investigations are ongoing.

11 ARRESTED BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS DURING 48 HOURS PERIOD
Mobile Division targeted patrols intended to reduce crime, and to minimize the ability for criminals to commit criminal activities, has resulted in the arrest of eleven (11) persons during the past 24 hours for, possession of dangerous drugs and outstanding court warrants.

Additionally forty-four (44) drivers were ticketed for various traffic violations.
