SUSPECT SHOT BY POLICE. ILLEGAL FIREARM RECOVERED
According to reports, shortly after 10:00 pm on Thursday 23rd November, 2017, police officers acting on information went to an apartment building at Abner Street, Fox Hill. As the officers approach the yard, a male, who is known to the police, pulled a firearm from his clothing and pointed it at the officers.

It was at this time that officers became fearful for their lives, shot the suspect and recovered an illegal firearm. The suspect was taken to the hospital and was pronounced deceased.

Her Majesty's Coroner visited the scene and is investigating this incident.

DANGEROUS DRUGS ARREST- GRAND BAHAMA
An American male is in police custody after he was found in possession of a quantity of Dangerous Drugs at the Freeport, Harbor.

Reports are that on Wednesday 22nd November 2017 shortly after 4:00pm, security officers and police officers arrested an American male at the Freeport, Harbor after he was found in possession of 1.1 lbs. of suspected cocaine that has a street value of $11,500.00 police are actively investigating this matter.
