TRAFFIC FATALITY- SAN SALVADOR
Police on the island of San Salvador are investigating a traffic accident that has left an adult male dead, on Monday 13thNovember, 2017.

According to reports shortly before 5:00pm, police received a report of a fatal accident in the settlement of United Estates. When officers arrived on the scene they met the lifeless body of a male lying in the street.

Reports are that the victim was a passenger on the back of a white 1997 Ford Ranger truck, when the driver lost control of the vehicle resulting in the accident. One other passenger was treated at the local clinic for minor injuries. Officers from the RBPF Traffic Division will be assisting with this investigation.

SUSPECT IN BPL MATTER TO BE CHARGED
Reno Bethel, one of the three men wanted in connection with the Bahamas Power and Light (BPL) Investigation has turned himself in to police. Bethel, a former Banker, accompanied by his Attorney, turned himself in to officers of the Central Detective Unit shortly before 1pm on Monday 13th November, 2017.

He is expected to be arraigned before Court on fraud charges later today.

25 ARRESTED, 31 DRIVERS TICKETED BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS DURING 48 HOURS PERIOD
Proactive Policing by officers from Mobile Division along with targeted patrols intended to reduce crime, and to minimize the ability for criminals to commit criminal activities, has resulted in the arrest of twenty-five (25) persons during the past 24 hours for, stolen vehicle, shop breaking, and outstanding court warrants.

Additionally, 31 drivers were ticketed for various traffic violations.
