POLICE ARREST 28 DURING WEEKEND OPERATION
POLICE are reporting the arrest of 28 persons during a special operation conducted by the RBPF Uniform Branch over the weekend, that targeted persons involved in criminal activities, such as drugs and firearms, persons wanted for various criminal offences, prolific offenders and persons wanted for outstanding court warrants.

The 28 persons were arrested for a number of major and minor criminal offences to include, firearms, drug possession, armed robbery, stolen vehicle and causing harm. Police remain committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors and members of the general public, free of the perception and fear of crime.

TWO DEAD IN ROSEBUD ROAD SHOOTING, SUSPECTS BEING SOUGHT
POLICE are asking the public to come fort with any information they may have to assist in locating the suspects responsible for a shooting incident that has left an adult male and a eight year old boy dead on Monday 25th September 2017.

Reports are that shortly after 5:00pm, police receive a report that two males were shot in the Rosebud Road area off Farrington Road. Responding officers arrived on the scene and met an adult who had been shot lying on the side of the street. The officers also met an eight-year old boy in a nearby house who had also been shot.

The two male victims were rushed to hospital where they later succumbed. Preliminary reports indicate that the adult male victim was the lone target of the shooting. Police are searching for a silver van that was seen speeding away from the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
