POLICE PROBE DEATH OF A FEMALE VISTOR
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a female visitor from Florida that occurred on Friday 20th January 2017. Re

ports are that shortly before 12:00 noon, two female visitors were snorkeling in waters off Rhodes island, when one of them loss consciousness. The female victim was taken onto the shore where she was given first aid assistance. She was later transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead. Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE APPEAL FOR INFORMATION IN TWO ARMED ROBBERIES
The police are appealing to the public for information to assist in their investigations into two separate overnight arm robberies.

In the first incident, shortly after 8:30pm on Saturday 21st January 2017, a woman was standing outside of a business establishment on Blue Hill Road, when three men armed with a handgun approached and robbed her of cash and a cell phone before fleeing on foot.

In the second incident, shortly after 3:00am, on Sunday 22nd January 2017, a man had just pulled up at his home located at Golf Course Boulevard, when two males in armed with a handgun approached and robbed him of his silver Honda Hyundai vehicle license number 301028. One of the suspects sped off in the victimís vehicle while the other suspect left in a white Kia Rio vehicle. Investigations are ongoing.
