POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN SHOOTING DEATH
Police are appealing to members of the public to come forth with any information they may have to assist in solving a shooting incident that has left a man dead and another detained in hospital on Saturday 5th August 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 2:30pm, two men were sitting in a parked vehicle on Lily of the Valley Corner off East Street, when the occupants of a dark coloured car pulled up and shot them. One of the men was pronounced dead on the scene and the other was rushed to hospital where he remains in serious condition.

Police can confirm that the deceased is on bail for murder and was being electronically monitored.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT VICTIM DIES IN HOSPITAL
A woman, who was detained in hospital following a traffic accident on Monday 31st July 2017, succumbed to her injuries on Saturday 5th August 2017.

According to reports that woman was driving in her vehicle on Carmichael Road, when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a concrete wall. The woman was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE HAVE RENEWED AN APPEAL FOR TWO WANTED PERSONS
Police have issued a renewed appeal to find a man wanted for firearm possession and a woman wanted for stealing.

The first suspect is 35-year old Anwar Strachan who is wanted for questioning reference to a seizure of a handgun and a quantity of dangerous drugs found at his home located on Rosewood Street, Pinewood Gardens on Wednesday 19th July 2017.

Strachan is considered to be armed and dangerous. Police advise the public not to approach him. Instead, contact police immediately with any information.

The second suspect is 22-year old Keisha Horton of Coral Harbour, who is wanted for questioning reference to stealing.

Horton is a medium brown female, medium build, about 5'3" to 5'6" in height.
