DANGEROUS DRUGS, LARGE CASH SEIZED AND BRIBERY ARREST- GRAND BAHAMA
Drug Enforcement Unit Officers arrest a male after he was found with a large amount of cash, a quantity of dangerous drugs and for bribery on Monday 24th July 2017.

Reports are that shortly after 11:00am, Drug Enforcement Unit Officers while in the area of Essex Road, stopped a suspicious vehicle with alone male passenger inside. A search of that vehicle uncovered a large amount of cash suspected to derive from criminal activities and suspected marijuana.

Further investigations lead officers to a residence in the area of Watergate Drive, where a search of that residence uncovered a quantity of suspected marijuana. The male was further cautioned for bribery of a police officer while in the execution of his duty. The total amount of cash seized is over one hundred thousand dollars. Police are actively investigating this matter.
