DISCIPLINARY ACTION COMMENCED AGAINST TWO POLICE OFFICERS IN SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEO
Police wishes to notify members of the public that disciplinary action has commenced against two police officers of the Royal Bahamas Police Force shown in a controversial video that recently went viral on social media.

At 11:00am this morning (Sunday 23rd July 2017), Commissioner Ellison Greenslade suspended both officers from duty and restricted their privileges. Both officers were given fourteen (14) days show cause letters. This allows due process and natural justice. Commissioner Greenslade will make a final decision on both officers once he receives their written responses in his hand.

POLICE SEARCHING SUSPECT IN OVERNIGHT SHOOTING
POLICE are searching for a male suspect responsible for a shooting incident that has left a man detained in hospital on Sunday 23rd July 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 1:00am, a man was attending a party at a home in Pride Estates, when a man armed with a firearm fired several shots and shot him before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition. Investigations are ongoing.

SEARCH CONTINUES FOR TWO SUSPECTS IN YESTERDAY'S SHOOTING DEATH
The search continues for two male suspects responsible for a shooting death that has left a man dead on Saturday 22nd July 2017.

According to reports, shortly before 6:00pm, a man was cleaning a vehicle on Silk Cotton Street off Buttonwood Avenue, Pinewood Gardens, when two male occupants of Suzuki Swift car armed with handguns, approached and shot him before speeding off. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. Investigations are ongoing
