MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUG POSSESSION IN STANIEL CAY
Consistent with the Commissioner's Policing Priorities for 2017, Police in Staniel Cay took a man into custody following the seizure of a quantity of dangerous drugs on Wednesday 19th July 2017.

According to reports, around 10:30am, officers in Staniel Cay acting on information executed a search warrant at a home of a man and uncovered a quantity of marijuana. The man was taken into custody and is expected to appear in court later today to be formally charged.

HANDGUN, DUGS AND LARGE AMOUNT OF AMMO SEIZED
Consistent with the Commissioner's Policing Priorities for 2017, Drug Enforcement Unit officers seized a handgun, a quantity of dangerous drugs and several rounds of ammunition during a raid on a home on Wednesday 19th July 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 3:00pm, Drug Enforcement officers acting on information went to a home located at Rosewood Street, Pinewood Gardens to execute a search warrant. On arrival the lone male occupant of the home eluded the officers on foot. A search was conducted of the suspectís home and a .40 Glock pistol, five pounds of marijuana and 149 rounds of assorted ammunition were found. Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS AND STOLEN VEHICLE
Police are searching for three male suspects and a stolen vehicle following an armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday 19th July 2017.

According to reports, shortly before 1:00pm, a woman was sitting in her silver Honda Civic vehicle license plate number 304410 on Parkgate Road, when three men armed with handguns approached and robbed her of her vehicle before speeding off. Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEARCHING SUSPECT IN OVERNIGHT SHOOTING
POLICE are searching for a male suspect responsible for a shooting that has left a man detained in hospital on Wednesday 19th July 2017.

According to reports, around 9:00pm, a man had just walked out of a business establishment located in Kennedy Subdivision, when the occupants on a grey Honda CRV vehicle pulled up and shot him before speeding off. The victim was transported to hospital where he remains in serious condition. Investigations are ongoing.

SEARCH CONTINUES FOR SUSPECT IN YESTERDAY'S SHOOTING DEATH
The search continues for a male suspect responsible for a shooting death that has left a man dead on Wednesday 19th July 2017.

According to reports, around 10:00am, a man was walking near his Honda Accord vehicle in the area of Malaysia Way and Commonwealth Boulevard, when a male driving a white Honda Fit car approached and shot him before speeding off. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. Police investigators conducted a search of the victim's vehicle on the scene and found a quantity of marijuana. Police can confirm that the victim is on bail for murder and he was being electronically monitored. Investigations are ongoing.
