TWO MALE SUSPECTS ARRAIGNED ON SHOPBREAKING CHARGES ON TUESDAY 11TH JULY 2017
James Rolle age 52 years of no fixed address was arraigned before Magistrate Charlton Smith in Magistrate Court #2 on (5) counts of Shopbreaking, Causing Damage and Stealing from a shop. He pleaded not guilty and the matter was adjourned to September 4th 2017 for trial. He was also arraigned before Magistrate Renkin Johnson on (2) counts of Shopbreaking and Stealing from a shop. He pleaded not guilty and the matter was adjourned to October 3rd 2017 for trial.

Moses Storr age 33 years of Adventurers Way was arraigned before Deputy Chief Magistrate Debbye Ferguson on (4) counts of Shopbreaking and (3) counts of Stealing from a shop. He pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentence to (12) months for Shopbreaking and on the charge of Stealing he was ordered to compensate the complainants and in default he will serve one year and six months. 

SHOOTING VICTIM DIES IN HOSPITAL, SUSPECTS BEING SOUGHT

Police are searching for the suspects responsible for a shooting that has left dead on Monday 10th July 2017.

According to reports, shortly before 1:00pm, a man was standing on a premises on Fowler Street off East Street, when the occupants of dark coloured Nissan Teanna car pulled up and shot him before speeding off. The victim was rushed to hospital where he later succumbed.

Investigations are ongoing.
