TWO MEN ARRAIGNED IN THE MAGISTRATE'S COURT ON INCEST CHARGES

Michael Edward Swann age 55 years old of Kitchner Avenue, Grand Bahama was arraigned before Magistrate Renkin Johnson in Magistrate Court #3 on Incest charge on Friday 30th June 2017. He was not required to enter a plea as the matter is an indictable offence. The case was adjourned to October 31st 2017 where the matter will proceed by Voluntary Bill of Indictment. He was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until trial.

The second matter is 34 year old Damien Allen aka Damien Allen Parker of Hudson Estate, Grand Bahama. He was arraigned before Magistrate Renkin Johnson in Magistrate Court #3 on Incest charge. He was not required to enter a plea. The case was adjourned to October 31st 2017 where the matter will proceed by Voluntary Bill of Indictment. He was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until trial.

TWO ARM ROBBERY SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY
Police took two males into custody, in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday 29th June 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 12:00 noon, a woman was leaving her home located on Oak Hill Road off Skyline Drive, when two males armed with a handgun accosted her, and forced her into her home. The two males then searched the woman's home and left in her white Chevy Equinox vehicle license plate number 188701. Police later arrested two males in connection with this incident.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN THREE SEPARATE SHOOTINGS
Police are searching for the suspects responsible for three separate shooting incidents that have left three men detained in hospital on Thursday 29th June 2017.

In the first incident, shortly after 1:00pm, a man was sitting in front of a home at Dorsett Street, Fox Hill, talking to two other men, when the occupants of a white Chevy Equinox vehicle pulled up and shot him before speeding off. The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition. Police later arrested two males in connection with this incident.

In the second incident, shortly before 10:00pm, a man was sitting in front of his home located at Mantol Street, Montel Heights, when two males armed with a handgun approached and shot him before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

In the final incident, shortly after 10:00pm, a man was standing with several persons in front of a home located at Price Street, Nassau Village, when the occupants of a Nissan vehicle pulled up and shot him before speeding off. The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition. Investigations are ongoing.

If You Witness a Crime If you see or suspect a crime is being committed, pay particular attention to the features of the offender(s) and any vehicles involved. Try to be prepared to provide at least the following about the offenders:

1. Age, complexion, height, and weight
2. Hair colour and style, beard and mustache;
3. Notable characteristics (scars, glasses, etc.)
4.Clothing description
5. Location where last seen
6. Last known direction of travel
7. Vehicle description and distinctive markings.

Witnesses who wish to remain anonymous may do so. It is more important that a response be 3 dispatched as quickly as possible
