POLICE INVESTIGATE FATAL SHOOTING
A tragic shooting that claimed the life of a 31-year-old male on Tuesday 06th February, 2024 shortly before 3:00 p.m. is under investigation.
Police were notified of the incident through its ShotSpotter Technology, which detected multiple gunshots being discharged on Hospital Lane and Cambridge Lane.
Initial reports indicate that the victim was walking south along Hospital Lane when an armed male emerged from a nearby park and discharged multiple gunshots in his direction before fleeing the scene north along Hospital Lane.
The victim, was examined by emergency medical technicians; however, they were unable to detect any vital signs of life.
