NEW PROVIDENCE
FIREARM SEIZED, SUSPECTS ARRESTED
On Saturday 06th April, 2024, officers from Operation Ceasefire inclusive of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force seized a firearm and arrested three (3) adult males and one (1) adult female at a residence located off Mackey Street.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 1:40 a.m., officers executed a search warrant at a home on Keyless Close. During the search, a firearm along with ammunition was found, resulting in the arrest of the four (4) occupants, aged 34, 24, 22, and 20.
The Anti-Gang & Firearms Task Force Unit will continue investigations into this matter.
