TWO DECOMPOSED BODIES DISCOVERED IN ABACO
Police in Abaco are investigating the discovery of two badly decomposed bodies that were discovered on Saturday 13th January 2018.

Reports are that shortly before 3:00pm, police received information that a body was discovered in the S.C Bootle Highway area, some five minutes before Treasure Cay.

Officers responded and upon further investigation they discovered two badly decomposed bodies. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. Police are actively investigating.

POLICE INVESTIGATES TRAFFIC FATALITY
Police in New Providence are investigating a traffic accident that has left an adult male dead on Sunday, 14th January, 2018.

According to reports, shortly after 4:00am, police received a report of fatal accident at Carmichael Road near to Boatswain Hill Road. When Officers arrived on the scene them met the lifeless body of a male with injuries lying in the road. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary reports indicate, that the victim may have been lying in the street, when he was struck by a 2011 Chevy Aveo vehicle, driven by a female. The driver remained at the scene and is assisting police with this investigation. Officers from the RBPF Traffic Division are investigating.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC'S HELP IN SOLVING ARMED ROBBERIES
Police are asking the public to come forth with any information they may have in solving two Armed Robberies which occurred on Saturday, 13th January, 2018.

In the first incident, shortly before 1:00pm, a male armed with a firearm, entered a local fast food restaurant on Nassau Street, and robbed employees of an undetermined about of cash, before fleeing on foot.

In the second incident, shortly before 8:00pm, a man armed with a firearm entered a convenience store located on Prince Charles Drive and robbed an employee of an undetermined amount of cash, before fleeing on foot. Investigations into these matters are ongoing.

ANOTHER FIREARM SEIZED
Reports are that, shortly after 4:00pm, on Saturday, 13th January, 2018 officers assigned to the South Central Division were on routine patrol, when they saw two males acting in a suspicious manner, standing in a vacant lot on Palm Tree Avenue.

One of the males, upon seeing the officers, threw a firearm to the ground before both of them fled on foot. The officers gave chase but were unable to catch the men. The handgun was retrieved and found to be a 9 millimeter Pistol.

No arrest was made in this matter.
