SUSPECT ARRAIGNED ON ARSON CHARGES IN ABACO
Albury Alfred age 42 years of the Mudd, was arraigned on Wednesday 31st January 2018, before Magistrate Ancella Evans at the Magistrate Court in Marsh Harbor, Abaco, on (10) ten counts of Arson.

He was not required to enter a plea and the matter was adjourned to the 15th March 2018 for trial. This is in connection to the incident reported to police on Sunday 28th January 2018 in Marsh Harbor, Abaco.

FIREARM ARREST IN GRAND BAHAMA
Officers of the Rapid Response Unit took three males into custody after they were found in possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.

Reports are that on Wednesday 31st January 2018 shortly before 5:00pm, Officers of Rapid Response while in the area of East Sunrise Highway, near a business establishment, took three males into custody after they were found in possession of a black 9mm pistol with two rounds of ammunition. They are expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court this week.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT- GRAND BAHAMA
Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic accident that has left a number of persons with injuries.

Reports are that on Wednesday 31st January 2018 shortly after 3:00pm, a traffic accident occurred off East Grand Bahama Highway, involving a yellow 1965 Mercedes Benz Unimog with (10) occupants, when the vehicle overturned.

All occupants received minor and serious injuries and were taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital via EMS personnel. Police are investigating this matter and are appealing to the general public to buckle up, drive within the speed limit and to drive with care and attention.
