2 SUSPECTS TO BE ARRAIGNED IN COURT FOR ARMED ROBBERY
Police are pleased to report that as a result of unwavering commitment and dedication to duty by officers of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, two (2) suspects will be arraigned in the Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, 3 rd January, 2018 at 12:00noon to be formally charged with Armed Robbery.

The suspects are:

  • 20 and 22- year old males of Crooked Island Street, who will be charged for the armed robbery of a convenience store on Poinciana Drive, on Sunday, 31st December, 2017.

POLICE SEEK HELP IN LOCATING MISSING FEMALE
Police are seeking the public's help in locating 15- year old Nia Savannah Williams of Mount Pleasant Village who was reported missing by family members.

Williams is of a dark brown complexion and stands about 5'7"- 5'8" tall with slim build. She was last seen on Saturday, 30th December, 2017.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT IN OVERNIGHT SHOOTING
Police are searching for the suspect responsible for a shooting that has left one men detained in hospital Tuesday, 2 nd January, 2018.

According to reports, shortly after 11:00pm, a man was standing outside a residence on St. John's Road, Pinewood Gardens, when he was approached by a man armed with a firearm, who shot him before running off. The victim was taken to hospital where he is detained in stable condition. Investigations are ongoing.
