STRUCTURAL FIRE- ABACO
Police are investigating the cause of a large structural fire in the Mudd, Abaco. Reports are that on Sunday 29th January 2018 shortly after 6:00am, police were called to the eastern area of the Mudd in Marsh Harbor, Abaco, where they met a large fire that had engulfed many homes.

Abaco Volunteer Fire Services were called to the scene and Officers from the Police Fire Services in Freeport were flown in to assist. No lives were lost.

One male is assisting police with their investigation into this matter. Investigation will continue.

ILLEGAL FIREARM AND DANGEROUS DRUGS SEIZED, 2 MALES AND 2 FEMALES IN CUSTODY
The unenduring and dedicated work of the men and women of the Royal Bahamas Police Force has led to another illegal firearm and a quantity of dangerous drugs, being taken off the streets of New Providence.

Shortly after 12:00noon on Sunday, 28th January, 2018 officers from the South Western Division acting on information searched a home on Bahamas Boulevard, Flamingo Gardens, and recovered a 9 millimeter pistol, 6 rounds of ammunition and a small quantity of marijuana.

Four persons were taken into custody and are expected to be formally charged before magistrate court this week.
